This project is entitled ‘Motherhood’. As a practical approach, it highlights the importance of motherhood as a support in ones life . Essence of motherhood and the bounties that come along with this relationship in every aspect of life is one of the dominant factors in this project, as imagery is used to depict and showcase my maternal generation of mothers and various strengthening parts related to it; in a photographic archive.
In my approach, I purposely photographed delicate yet convincing moments that portray a strong sense of connection to the viewer while looking at these images, also the sentiments, struggles and care hidden behind the expressions of my captures. I have used a selected variety of different media alongside my project to accompany my research.
